Don Philpott, an award-
winning writer, journalist and broadcaster, founded Mediawise Communications in London in 1988 after working for 20 years as a senior correspondent and editor with Reuters-Press Association, the international news and financial wire service. In 1994 he incorporated Mediawise Communications US and expanded the company’s international client list. For many years he was the official media trainer for the Institute of Public Relations (IPR). He is a member of the IPR, the Public Relations Society of America and the American Advertising Federation, and the author of more than 50 books on the media, wine, food and travel.

 

 
 
       
Paul Serluco - Vice President


   

Paul Serluco

Paul Serluco, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is a seasoned corporate money manager with 20 years experience in the financial arena. As a Business Manager with the Boeing Company, he had primary responsibility for developing and managing billion-dollar U.S. Department of Defense contracts. Prior to joining Mediawise, he was Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of a $15 million a year award-winning financial publications firm in Orlando, Florida. In this position, he managed all financial operations including SEC reporting, budgeting, forecasting and investor relations, as well as administrative functions. He is an honors alumna of Temple University (PA) holding BBA and MA degrees in economics and finance.
     
       
David Steers


     
David Steers, Managing Director Mediawise UK, has almost 40 years UK experience with national newspapers, radio and TV and in press and public relations. He manages a public relations and marketing team that services a wide range of clients from multi-national corporations to non-profits and publishes a number of trade magazines. He is a media lecturer for the UK Institute of Public Relations, leads radio and television courses for UK companies and organizations and is a regular contributor to UK magazines and newspapers.

Josh Webb, Art Director, is an award-winning graphic designer who specializes in corporate identity, PR, direct mail and marketing design. His knowledge and skills in design, direct mail, pre-press and printing make him an important member of the Mediawise Team.
